Job summary

Primark is seeking a part-time Visual Merchandiser to join our Barnstaple store. You will create engaging product displays, reflect the Primark customer through windows, mannequins and in-store visuals, and collaborate with store management to maximise sales.

You should have some retail/visual merchandising experience, an eye for detail and strong organisational skills to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Some previous retail and ideally some visual merchandising experience.
• Eye for detail and awareness of fashion trends and latest styles.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritise.
• Strong service focus with experience of delivering an excellent customer service.
• Good problem-solving skills, with an interest in developing commercial acumen – we’re all about learning here!

Responsibilities

• Work with the VM/Store Manager to reflect the Primark customer through excellent product presentation, windows and mannequin styling.
• Review displays to ensure commercial success and relevance to the local customer.
• Provide feedback on successful product lines and refresh/alternative product suggestions.
• Maintain all POS materials in line with company guidelines and keep up to date throughout the store.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with the store management team.
