Protocol Education are recruiting for a thriving SEND school in Shropshire, seeking a Creative/Artistic Youth Worker to support pupils with complex needs. You will work 1:1 and across the classroom, using your arts, sensory or drama background to engage and calm learners.

The role requires an adaptable, proactive and positive approach within a holistic timetable, focusing on individual goals and well-being. Start date is Monday 21st September 2026.

Qualifications

• Arts background or degree required.
• Sensory or therapy background is desirable.
• Experience with SEND and varied needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with pupils with complex needs.
• Support class activities and contribute to an individualised curriculum.
• Engage learners using creative methods to promote progress and well-being.
