Job summary

Protocol Education are seeking teaching assistants from creative backgrounds to work in an outstanding special needs school in Kingston Upon Thames, starting as soon as possible. You will work with early years through to secondary students in small classes of 6–8, with autism, speech and language needs and other complex needs.

No experience is required, but commitment, passion and dedication are key attributes the school are looking for.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; commitment, passion and dedication are key attributes.

Responsibilities

• Support students with set curriculum tailored to individual needs.
• Develop speech and language skills using visual resources.
• Assist in core subjects such as numeracy and literacy.
• Contribute to creative lessons including art, music, swimming and cooking.
• Aid in therapy activities (e.g., K9 therapy, sensory play) and social development.
