Qualifications

The Role:

The Creative Retoucher is responsible for retouching creative assets in the Creative Team ensuring successful delivery on time and budget.

This involves processing the images output from the Creative Photographers and the Content Creators to ensure a high quality and consistent aesthetic to support that aligns with END.’s visual identity and values across the homepage, in store and all marketing channels.

The role accurately follows retouch notes provided by photographers, stylists, the Senior Brand Creative Manager and other relevant key stakeholders.

The Creative team is part of the Marketing department and is responsible for the concepting and delivery of high‑quality, in‑house creative content across multiple projects and platforms to ensure a best in class retail experience. The assets created by the Creative team will be used on all digital platforms and social channels.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
  • Ensuring END. produce high-quality Creative imagery in alignment with style guides, allotted time/budget and brand requirements to support the sale of our product
  • Maintaining incredibly high quality standards for all Creative visual assets
  • Ensuring files are organised, backed up and easily accessible for the Creative Team and wider departments
  • Ensuring that assets are correctly sized, named and optimised for upload
  • Peer review of output to ensure quality standards across the team
  • Develop good relationships with supporting teams and departments
  • Accurately following retouching notes provided by Creative Photographers, Senior Brand Creative Manager, stylists and other relevant key stakeholders
  • Adheres and contributes to Retouch team processes, systems and tools
  • Keeping up to date with all Adobe Photoshop updates, finding efficiencies and shortcut’s to ensure a timely and efficient production process
  • Able to confidently work within the Creative team to identify and communicate areas for process improvement
  • A keen interest in and eye for editorial photography and layout
  • Confidently identifying relevant emerging trends and having the ability to clearly present and compile research using a variety of sources
  • Concepting for projects when required
  • Uses initiative to upskill in editing and retouching to align with trends, leading industry software and the creative team needs to enhance the creative teams output
Who we’re looking for:
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast paced environment, with accuracy
  • Strong understanding of colour correction
  • An excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of adjustment layers, actions, multi‑layer composites and confident use of a Wacom tablet
  • Experience developing teams and processes (preferably in a Studio‑based context) in a controlled and efficient manner, whilst working to tight deadlines
