Job summary

Pinc College is recruiting a Teacher of Creative Programmes to join the team at the Design Museum in London. You will deliver Level 2 and Level 3 creative programmes to neurodivergent young people aged 16–24, helping them develop skills and confidence in an inspiring cultural setting.

You’ll plan and deliver across creative disciplines, use practical, visual and sensory teaching approaches, assess coursework, and work with learning support colleagues to create a positive, neuro-affirming

Qualifications

• Level 3 teaching qualification is required.
• Level 2 English and Maths qualifications, or willingness to achieve within the first academic year.
• Experience teaching in Further Education or specialist provision, ideally with SEND.
• Ability to teach across different creative disciplines and adapt to students' interests.
• Experience of creative enterprise and post-16 education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Level 2 and Level 3 creative programmes.
• Teach across a range of creative disciplines, adapting to students' interests and strengths.
• Use practical, visual and sensory approaches to make learning accessible.
• Support students to develop their creative skills, independence and confidence.
• Assess coursework, track progress and support students towards qualifications.
• Make the most of the Design Museum and partnerships to bring learning to life.
• Collaborate with learning support colleagues to create a neuro-affirming learning environment.
