Job summary

Cande Group in Hinckley is offering a Production Assistant Apprenticeship to join our busy creative team. You will assist with post‑production tasks, help organise footage, manage assets, and support shoots and livestreams while learning the Production Assistant Standard.

Our apprenticeship focuses on developing hands‑on editing support, project coordination, and collaboration with clients and colleagues, with training provided alongside day‑to‑day work.

Qualifications

• Portfolio/showreel required.
• Basic understanding of editing (preferably Adobe Premiere).
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work collaboratively, but also take initiative and run with tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Post-production & editing support for client briefs and storytelling.
• Source and select clips and b‑roll to support high production value.
• Support delivery of high-quality video and animation output.
• Optimise video and multimedia content for social, web, livestream and other platforms.
• Ensure output follows client brand guidelines and licensing requirements.
• Keep footage organised and assets licensed, including stock and user-generated content.
• Support content development from idea to delivery with coordination across resources.
• Attend location-based shoots and livestreams as part of a crew or independently.
• Contribute ideas as part of a team and support project documentation.
