Aromatherapy Associates has been sharing the therapeutic powers of essential oils for 40 years. The brand was founded in 1985 by Geraldine Howard & Sue Beechey, therapists that had trained under the renowned aromatherapist Micheline Arcier, who can be traced back to the modern-day founders of aromatherapy. Overview of the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Creative Marketing Designer to join our Global Trade Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Global Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting global marketing initiatives through the development of high-quality, visually compelling creative assets.

Your work will drive engagement, boost conversion, and reinforce brand identity across retail, spa, distributor, and D2C channels. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends creativity with strategic thinking—ideal for a designer eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design execution for campaigns & launches: Develop visually impactful assets for product launches and marketing campaigns. Deliverables include in-store POS materials, emails, web banners, social media ads, and sales collateral such as trade presentations, cheat sheets, training documents, and product launch toolkits. Emphasis on effectively communicating key USPs.

Retailer brand room & product pages: Collaborate with the Brand team to audit and enhance retailer brand rooms and product pages. Propose and implement improvements in asset quality and copy to elevate customer experience and brand positioning.

Support for retail & D2C channels: Provide creative support for the Retail and D2C teams by resizing assets and creating digital campaign materials that educate and engage consumers, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

  • Contribute to enhancing the brand’s in-store and spa presence by designing compelling visual merchandising concepts and displays.
  • Assist Global Trade Marketing Executive to design and set up branded stands and supporting collateral for events and trade shows, ensuring clear communication of the brand’s value proposition and a visually cohesive presence.

Brand consistency: Uphold global brand guidelines across all produced assets, ensuring visual and messaging consistency across all touchpoints.

Project & workflow management: Manage incoming briefs and maintain an organized workflow schedule to ensure timely and efficient delivery of assets.

Skills & Experience

Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years experience in Design
  • Fluent in standard Adobe Creative Cloud packages: Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
  • Understanding and use of social formats; svg, png files etc.
  • Strong creative design and proof-reading skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced, highly reactive environment.
  • Good knowledge of Powerpoint design.
  • Previous experience in the creation of sale materials, point of sale and visual merchandising renders is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a similar role within beauty/wellness field is desirable.

Personal Qualities:

  • You will be a self-starter working across multiple teams so you need to be able to self-time manage your projects and have the ability to work independently.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • You will have empathy for the consumer in different environments with the ability to create design that both inspires and provides a commercial output.
  • A passion for health & wellness/aromatherapy industry.
  • Be able to commute to Head Office in Brentford, Middlesex 2-3 days per week.
