Job summary

Buitelaar Group is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager for a 12-month maternity cover based in Wrexham. The role offers variety across content, digital marketing, internal comms and events, with a chance to shape storytelling across our agricultural and food-related brands.

You will develop engaging content, manage social media, oversee newsletters (Buitelaar Times) and ensure consistent brand messaging while collaborating with multiple teams. The position is office-based near Wrexham.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing or communications role with content planning and campaign delivery.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
• Experience managing social media channels and creating digital content.
• Understanding of digital marketing and analytics, with the ability to interpret performance data and make practical recommendations.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how marketing supports business objectives.
• Confidence communicating with people across different teams and areas of a business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging content across Group social media channels, following a content strategy and forward plan.
• Identify and develop stories from across the business, creating written, photographic and video content.
• Capture and edit content at Group sites, farms and events, with external production support as needed.
• Write and publish blogs, articles and other Group communications.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging and high-quality content across channels.
• Manage Group digital marketing activity, including paid campaigns and SEO improvements.
• Analyse website, social media and campaign performance to support wider objectives.
• Produce the monthly Group marketing report with trends and recommendations.
• Manage the internal newsletter, Buitelaar Times, from planning to distribution.
• Coordinate internal communications via Buitelaar Connect and other channels.
• Support the planning and delivery of Group culture, team engagement and fundraising initiatives.
• Create and coordinate marketing collateral, presentations and digital assets with external suppliers.
• Support trade shows, events and cross-team marketing projects; provide cover when needed.
