Job summary

CuspAI is seeking a hands-on Creative Lead to own our visual identity worldwide, build scalable design systems in Figma, and lead brand conversations with executives and partners.

You will start by delivering high-impact collateral, event graphics, and a brand refresh, then scale the function by directing freelancers and growing an in-house design team across Cambridge or London, with three days per week in the office and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional visual design or graphic design experience.
• Multiskilled and multidisciplinary with strong craft across brand, digital, print, and presentation.
• Led art direction for large-scale initiatives such as brand refreshes.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with AI design tools and design systems.
• Able to balance high-level direction with hands-on production work.
• Strong stakeholder management; present concepts to executives and partners.
• Interest in materials science and climate tech and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Own CuspAI brand and update visual identity guidelines.
• Build scalable design systems and components in Figma.
• Design decks, one-pagers, reports for leadership and partnerships.
• Deliver high-quality assets with fast turnaround.
• Direct external freelancers and plan to grow in-house design team.
• Collaborate with Communications, PMM, Events, Partnerships.
