Job summary

Away Resorts in Humberston is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team, drive quality, and manage stock, yields and audits while delivering memorable guest experiences. You will set standards, train staff, control costs, ensure compliance with health and safety rules, and work evenings and weekends during peak holiday times.

NVQ and food hygiene certificates are preferred; benefits include a competitive pension, bonus scheme and on-park discounts.

Qualifications

• NVQ and relevant food hygiene certificates.
• Experience leading kitchen teams with focus on quality and cost control.
• Knowledge of health & safety, auditing and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Ensure consistency of quality of dishes before they reach the customer
• Plan orders of equipment and ingredients managing, stock and wastage effectively
• Remedy any problems or defects
• Be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staff
• Oversee the work of the kitchen team
• Manage and review team workload to maximise efficiency and ensure standards
• Implementation of all legislative measures and administration required by the current Food Hygiene, licensing
