Job summary

Storal in Portishead is seeking an Early Years Educator for casual/bank hours to cover holidays, sickness, or vacancy gaps. You will provide nurturing care and support play-based learning in line with EYFS standards in our Blossom Tree Nursery School.

A Level 2+ qualification in early years is required; experience as an EY educator is advantageous and a passion for helping children grow. The role is on-site with flexible shifts, a friendly team, and opportunities to contribute to our community.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator or with children under 5 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Cover for children as needed during holidays, sickness, or vacancy gaps.
• Provide activity planning and implement learning through play.
• Support creative activities, storytelling, and movement within EYFS.
• Work with the team to maintain safeguarding standards.
