Job summary

The BBC Group and Public Services is seeking a hands-on Business Advisor to coordinate and manage Creative Diversity projects, delivering across multiple workstreams to advance inclusion objectives. You will work with Creative Diversity Leads and a team of advisors to keep complex initiatives on track.

In this role, you will support planning, budgeting and reporting, collaborate with commissioning, production and business support functions, and help ensure projects are delivered with measurable

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating or managing projects or productions to successful outcomes.
• Working knowledge of the project lifecycle including methodologies and techniques for delivery.
• Understanding of drivers of success and sources of risk for the project.
• Microsoft Office skills and experience using data to make it meaningful for different audiences.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Asana or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Creative Diversity projects that advance inclusion and representation.
• Support projects from short-term initiatives to longer-term priorities across commissioning, production, talent, training, partnerships and audience-focused initiatives.
• Coordinate stakeholders across BBC divisions and external organisations.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, contributing to budgeting and forecasting as required.
• Identify and escalate risks and provide performance updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating initiatives, ensuring outcomes, insights and recommendations are documented.
• Measure impact of projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
