Job summary

Getty Images, a leading visual content company, is seeking a Creative Development Specialist in EMEA to engage, educate and inspire regional creators to produce high-quality stock visuals that meet customer needs.

You will collaborate with Creative Insights, Contributor Relations, Custom Content, and Creator Engagement to deliver locally relevant content. The role requires strong communication, recruitment ability, and a strategic, creative mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual/creative media or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of photography, videography and visual storytelling.
  • Experience recruiting photographers and videographers for stock content.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with regional creators to develop high-end regional content.
  • Communicate content needs and guidance to creators via email, Discord, and Zoom.
  • Identify and recruit new talents within the region.
  • Collaborate with teams to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
  • Upskill the creator community through webinars and events.
  • Provide feedback to creators to improve shoots and content quality.
  • Curate assets to meet differentiation standards and customer needs.
  • Support regional contributors and showcase work internally and externally.
  • Write briefs communicating content needs and trends.
  • Partner with internal Creator Community teams on initiatives.
  • Promote work and engage the creator community across channels.

Job description

The Creative team provides customers with original, relevant, and contemporary visuals. Through an industry-unique combination of consumer research, proprietary data, and three decades of trend reporting experience, the team delivers actionable insights that guide customers to the visual content that connects with consumers. Closely collaborating with our contributor base of photographers, videographers, and illustrators around the world, the team develops market leading, authentic, and differentiated content.

Who You Are:

You have a strong creative vision and a deep understanding of photography, videography, and visual storytelling. With a background in the creative industry, you are an effective communicator who excels at building relationships with image and video-makers. You have a sharp eye for talent and know how to identify and recruit photographers and videographers who are a great fit for stock content. Driven by a passion for Diversity & Inclusion, you bring diverse perspectives to your work. You’re a self-starter who thrives both independently and in collaborative environments, successfully managing multiple projects at once.

As a Creative Development Specialist in EMEA you’ll support the local creator community by engaging, inspiring and educating them to produce high-quality work that meets customer needs. Reporting to the Director of Creative, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Creative Insights, Contributor Relations, Custom Content, and Creator Engagement to deliver impactful and locally relevant content.

Your Next Challenge:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with photographers, videographers, and illustrators to inspire and produce high-end regional commercial content.
  • Regularly communicate content needs and provide guidance to creators via email, Discord, and Zoom.
  • Identify and recruit new talents within the region.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new content ideas.
  • Support team in multiple projects in upskilling the community.
  • Provide feedback to creators to enhance their skills and ensure content quality.
  • Curate and review creative assets to meet differentiation standards and customer needs.
  • Offer feedback and support to regional contributors, enhancing their shoots.
  • Promote and showcase creative work internally and externally both verbally and written.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team on community matters and industry trends.
  • Write briefs to communicate content needs.
  • Support team with regional events and monthly webinars for creator engagement and education.
  • Collaborate with our internal Creator Community support teams.
What You'll Need:
  • Relevant degree in visual/creative media.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with photography/videography; production/art direction and shoot management.
  • 3+ years in visual communications or advertising.
  • Strong creative vision and ability to create compelling content.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to strategically align to content Needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to manage external creators to deliver on relevant content.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Knowledgeable about the visual market and content creation.
  • Proficient in PC/MAC, MS Office, project management tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proactive in sharing trending topics; ideas and solutions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to develop innovative approaches for engaging creators, providing clear creative direction rooted in purpose and vision.
  • We are looking for a positive; highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a collaborative team spirit.
Nice to Have:
  • Fluency in German or Spanish speaking is an advantage,but not required.
