Are you a dynamic and creative professional with a passion for design and the arts? We are recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school that is seeking a Creative & Design Technician to support their innovative curriculum and theatrical productions.

About the Role:

As a key member of the school's creative team, you will provide technical expertise in design, set construction, prop-making, and stage support. Ideally, you will have a background in theatre design, helping bring performances and creative projects to life. Your role will include:

1. Assisting students and staff with creative and design technology projects
2. Providing technical support for theatre productions, including set and prop design
3. Managing materials, equipment, and resources in the creative department
4. Ensuring a safe and inspiring learning environment

About You:

We are looking for someone with:

• A background in theatre production, design technology, or a related field
• Strong practical skills in set design, prop-making, and workshop management
• Experience working in an educational or creative setting (preferred)
• Enthusiasm for inspiring students in the world of creativity and performance
