Job summary

King & Spalding LLP seeks a Creative Design Manager to lead a small design team, contributing hands-on to high-quality visual communications for marketing, business development, and client engagement. You will balance leadership with practical design execution in a fast-paced environment.

You will help shape the firm’s brand, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and oversee production, ensuring assets meet standards and deadlines across campaigns and events.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of professional design experience, preferably in professional services or corporate marketing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end design for print and digital across multiple formats.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom).
• Experience with Figma and UX/wireframing concepts is desired.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, After Effects, or similar is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small design team; mentor and allocate work, manage external partners as needed.
• Hands-on design and production of marketing and business development collateral across print and digital.
• Collaborate with brand leads to maintain and evolve brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Partner with stakeholders across marketing, events and BD to deliver targeted creative solutions.
• Oversee production processes, vendor coordination, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
