Job summary

Live Here Love Here is seeking a Communications Officer to deliver engaging communications for Climate Minds NI and Environmental Education. The role spans content creation, media, newsletters and digital storytelling, with collaboration across partners and funders.

The position offers a 4-day week (30 hours) with full-time pay, hybrid working with a Belfast office requirement, and a fixed-term 3-year contract. A driving licence and Canva/Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or two years relevant experience.
• Excellent English language and proofreading skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for multiple audiences and channels.
• Experience producing digital communications, including social media, newsletters and website content.
• Experience creating graphic design content within established brand guidelines.
• Full current driving licence and access to suitable transport.

Responsibilities

• Content and Campaign Communications Lead or support communications activity across Climate Minds NI and Environmental Education.
• Identify strong storytelling opportunities and develop creative ways to communicate programme impact.
• Create engaging content for Live Here Love Here’s social media channels.
• Produce Climate Minds NI and Eco-Schools e-zines and newsletters.
• Create branded graphics and visual content using Canva.
• Produce reports, information materials and press releases as required.
