Job summary

Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Slimbridge is seeking a Communications Officer (Maternity Cover) to manage creative, multi-channel communications that raise the profile of our ten wetland centres and inspire visits.

Working with Visitor Marketing, you’ll handle media relations, social media, events, and internal comms, delivering stories that engage diverse audiences while supporting a busy, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Experience delivering communications plans for diverse public audiences.
• Track record of creative communications across social media, PR, events and digital content.
• Intuitive thinker and engaging writer to raise an organisation's profile and drive action.
• Comfortable capturing content and turning it into on-brand communications for social media and media storytelling.
