Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is hiring a Chef on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menus, and contribute to delivering exceptional food experiences for clients and customers.

Ideal candidate will have City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team, with a flexible, customer‑centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback and drive improvements.
• Support creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Represent CH&CO and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
