Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Creative Artworker to provide technical, production and finishing expertise across the Club's creative output. You will transform approved concepts into accurate, production-ready assets for digital, print, retail and social channels, while maintaining the original creative intent.

You will ensure assets are prepared to meet brand standards and production specs, working closely with designers and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience creating production-ready artwork for print, digital, social and retail channels.
• Strong knowledge of brand standards, production specs and file formats.
• Ability to translate approved concepts into final production-ready assets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality artwork for print, digital, social and retail channels, ensuring all assets meet the required technical and brand standards.
• Translate approved creative concepts into final production-ready assets without compromising the original creative vision.
• Configure and optimise files for their intended platform, format, supplier or production process.
• Maintain and update design templates, style guides, asset libraries and production files to support consistency and efficiency.
• Work closely with designers to ensure technical execution aligns with agreed creative direction.
• Act as a technical checkpoint between the Creative team and external suppliers, including printers, manufacturers and agencies.
• Review production specifications and proactively identify technical risks, limitations or errors before final production.
• Support creative colleagues by providing guidance on production requirements, technical limitations and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to workflows, templates, file management and quality control processes.
• Help introduce new tools, systems and production techniques that improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
