We are looking for people with a Creative Arts background to use your skills and knowledge supporting children with barriers to learning in a school environment.

About The Role

Creative Arts Assistant (Full-Time, temporary)

Location: Lancaster

Salary: £444 - £475 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Start date: May 2025

The School and Role

We seek individuals with a Creative Arts background to support children with barriers to learning in a school setting. You will build positive relationships with pupils and leverage your creative arts knowledge to enhance their educational experience. This role offers valuable experience working in schools and can serve as a stepping stone towards a future career working with children.

Requirements

• A desire to work in mainstream secondary schools across Lancaster supporting pupils with barriers to learning, additional needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
• Relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
• A warm and friendly nature to foster positive relationships with pupils.
• A creative arts background that can be integrated into school activities.
