Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group in Fornham St Martin is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead the Activities team at Fornham House. This role designs engaging resident activities and newsletters, with a 16.5‑hour weekly schedule and alternating weekend shifts.

You will work closely with the care team to support social wellbeing, promote the home on social media, and tailor programmes to individual residents while keeping a friendly, communicative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and social media experience is beneficial.
• Ability to design engaging activities and manage calendars is important.

Responsibilities

• Design and distribute newsletters to residents and families, updating them on events at the home.
• Create a monthly calendar of activities including arts, outings and interactive games.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents' wellbeing and social engagement.
• Promote the home and events on social media to encourage community involvement.
• Adapt activity programmes to respect individuals and maintain a welcoming home atmosphere.
