Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and run a varied programme of activities for residents, using arts, theatre, music, hospitality and events to promote wellbeing, socialisation and happiness in our care home. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) and reports to the Home Manager/ Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager.

You will plan outings, support residents with limited mobility, lead volunteers and work closely with care

Qualifications

• Experience in arts/theatre/music, hospitality or event hosting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead group activities and support residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities to provide a varied, engaging programme.
• Organise events and outings tailored to residents' interests.
• Provide one-to-one companionship and support for residents with limited mobility.
• Maintain records in residents' care plans and assessments.
• Collaborate with care staff, relatives and Home Manager to ensure safety and inclusivity.
