Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Weymouth to plan and run a varied program of activities so residents enjoy a stimulating, fulfilling and happy lifestyle.

You will draw on experience in the arts, theatre, music, hospitality or event hosting to engage residents, involve volunteers, and support resident wellbeing, with reports to Home Manager/Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and families.
• Knowledge of theatre, art, music, hospitality, and event hosting.
• Ability to lead group activities and manage volunteers.
• Empathy and understanding of elderly residents' needs.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules.

• Create and implement daily activities and programmes for residents.
• Encourage wellbeing, socialisation and harmony throughout the home.
