Job summary

Exemplar Health Care’s Acer Mews care home in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an Activities Coordinator to organise and lead meaningful and entertaining activities for the people we support. You’ll empower residents to live fulfilled and happy lives and be a key part of a friendly, person-centred team.

The role is 20 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with induction and ongoing training, opportunities to develop skills, and benefits. We value caring, creativity and a positive, can-do attitude.

• organising individual activity plans based on people’s unique goals and interests

• celebrating national awareness days, holidays and individual/collective achievements
• promoting choice, dignity and independence
