Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and lead engaging activities for residents at our Gloucestershire care home. Your energy and creativity will brighten daily life and support social engagement.

You will plan events, arrange entertainer visits, and lead gentle activities to promote movement and independence. A warm, people-focused personality and 40-hour availability are essential.

Qualifications

• A warm, creative, people-focused personality.
• Availability to commit to 40 hours per week.
• Flexible to work one day every other weekend.
• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for our residents.
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts & one-to-one moments.
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties.
• Arrange visits from entertainers & local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.
