Purpose of Role

The role of the Creative within the Creative Services Department is to work in support of the Creative Manager and alongside the wider creative team, liaising directly with clients, colleagues and external agencies as required. They will develop, oversee and manage work in adherence of our brand.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver high-quality artwork according to brand specifications, demonstrating an understanding of the requirements of the brief and the needs of the client with limited supervision
  • Manage own allocated workload in an accurate and timely manner
  • Support other team members by offering assistance during busy periods
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders and provide accurate and timely responses as and when required
  • Process requests to team workflow
  • Responsible for peer checking others work; identifying errors, suggesting improvements and ensuring quality
  • Help maintain and coordinate information and knowledge sharing within the Creative Services team
  • Represent the team at meetings and discussions
  • Engage with senior team members for support and guidance
  • Build effective relationships with clients and the wider business, taking ownership of specialisms as required as a key contact
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office experience
  • Be involved and assist in departmental workflow
  • Take ownership, or be involved in, project work as instructed
  • Assisting in training, developing and mentoring new and existing team members, providing general guidance and direction
  • Be aware of the latest creative industry standards, trends and keep up to date with your own personal design skills and knowledge of software packages and technology.
  • Be involved in image selection, licensing and curation as required
  • Assist in the production of internally printed material in conjunction with the Print Specialist and the wider creative team

Qualifications:

  • Qualification at higher/further education level in the Creative Arts (preferred)

Your knowledge and experience:

  • Highly creative with the ability to generate original designs.
  • Able to demonstrate a history of working with, and adhering to brand, guidelines across a range of design deliverables
  • Experience of working with (or within) the Financial Services industry (preferred)

The type of candidate that we're looking for:

We're looking for a creative designer with a proven history of developing their own creative ideas and taking these from conception to conclusion. They should have strong communication and presentation skills with a flexible and collaborative approach to working with both the wider department and our internal stakeholders.
