Job summary

RTS Infrastructure, part of Arriva Group, is seeking an experienced Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) - Track based in Leeds. You will provide technical leadership and engineering assurance across track infrastructure projects, ensuring designs and standards are followed and safety is paramount.

The role may involve national travel once projects develop, with a company vehicle provided later. You will engage with Design CREs, CEMs and clients to resolve technical queries, manage risks, and

• Experience delivering track engineering works in rail infrastructure.
• CSCS card and PTS certification where required.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as the nominated Track CRE for allocated projects and work packages.
• Provide engineering assurance across construction phase of track works.
• Ensure access to drawings, specs and technical information before works start.
• Support site teams with technical guidance and issue resolution during delivery.

**Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) - Track** **Location:** Holbeck Depot, Leeds **Hours:** 40 hours per week **Contract:** Permanent **Please note:** This role is currently based in Leeds; however, future projects may be located across the UK, so flexibility to travel is essential. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced rail engineering professional to provide technical leadership, construction assurance and engineering governance across a diverse portfolio of rail infrastructure projects.
