Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Limited is recruiting a Crawler Crane Operator to join our team in Chessington. The role requires operating crawler cranes and carrying out lifting operations on major tunnelling projects.

Candidates should have Blue CPCS - A62 and ideally an in-date Safety Critical Medical. You will be responsible for crane inspections and maintaining equipment in a safety-focused environment at site level.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating crawler cranes.
• Experience on major tunnelling projects.
• Knowledge of lifting plant and equipment.
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane controls safely and accurately.
• Carry out lifting operations in accordance with lifting plans.
• Follow lifting plans set by the AP/Lifting Supervisor.
• Carry out regular inspections of the crane and perform maintenance as required.
