Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Limited is recruiting a Crawler Crane Operator to join our Tunnelling division in London. You will operate crawler cranes on complex civil tunnelling projects, ensuring lifting plans are followed and safety procedures are observed.

We value extensive experience with crawler cranes, a Blue CPCS A62 qualification, and an in-date Safety Critical Medical. References will be required as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating crawler cranes on major tunnelling projects.
• Blue CPCS A62 Crawler Crane certification required.
• In-date Safety Critical Medical desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and depress of crane controls.
• Carry out lifting operations safely per procedures and lifting plans.
• Follow lifting plans set out by the AP/Lifting Supervisor.
• Carry out regular inspections of the crane and perform maintenance of equipment.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Crawler Crane Operator to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manipulate and depress of crane controls
• Responsible for carrying out lifting operations in a safe manner, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
• Follow lifting plans set out by the AP/Lifting Supervisor
• Carrying out regular inspections of the crane and carrying out any maintenance of equipment

Qualifications/Training

• Blue CPCS - A62 Crawler Crane
• In-date Safety Critical Medical (Desirable)

Experience

• Extensive experience operating Crawler Cranes
• Experience working on major tunnelling projects
• Knowledge of civil construction practices, lifting plant and equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements for lifting equipment and accessories
