Job summary

Delden Cranes is seeking a Plant Mechanic/Fitter to service crawler cranes in the workshop and across the UK and Ireland. You will attend breakdowns, perform rigging, servicing and repairs, and maintain inspection records.

The role requires mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault diagnosis, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to travel and work extended hours, including weekends. Training through NVQ, CPCS, IPAF and related courses is provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with heavy plant/machinery or heavy goods vehicles.
• Experience fault diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on crawler cranes.
• Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Full UK driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns as required across the UK and Ireland.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on crawler cranes.
• Rig, service and perform repairs; record inspections and servicing.
• Work in workshop and yard with high safety standards.
• Attend mandatory training courses (NVQ Plant Maintenance, CPCS, IPAF, CETOP, LEEA).
• Undertake other duties as requested by management.
