Job summary

Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic/Fitter to maintain and repair a range of mechanical construction plant across the Coatbridge depot and UK sites. The role involves fault finding, scheduled maintenance, and servicing of drilling rigs and support equipment.

You will attend sites nationwide, including overnight stays, with a 45-hour week and a provided van. The position requires an NVQ in Plant Maintenance, CSCS card, and experience with diesel engines and

Qualifications

• NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Valid CSCS card for Slinger/Signaller and Abrasive Wheels.
• Experience on mobile and static construction equipment.
• Maintenance and repairs of Diesel Engines and Hydraulic Systems.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic and electronic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparation, fault finding, repairs and scheduled maintenance of mechanical plant equipment at Coatbridge Depot and UK sites.
• Service and repair drilling rigs, grout plants, pumps, tanks and ancillary equipment.
• Ensure housekeeping and safe, timely, cost-effective work practices.
• Attend UK sites, including overnight stays when required.
