Zusammenfassung

Soil Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic/Fitter to service, repair and maintain mechanical construction plant equipment (Fraste, Dando, Soilmec) at the Coatbridge depot and on UK sites. The role involves fault finding, hydraulics, and instrumentation work, with occasional site attendance and overnight stays.

You will join a safety‑conscious team, operate under company procedures, and contribute to efficient, cost‑effective projects.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• CSCS card for Slinger/Signaller and Abrasive Wheels
• Experience with mobile and static construction equipment
• Ability to interpret hydraulic diagrams and electrical diagrams

Aufgaben

• Perform preparation, fault finding, repairs and scheduled maintenance of mechanical construction plant equipment (Fraste, Dando and Soilmec) including hydraulics and instrumentation, both at the Coatbridge Depot and on UK sites.
• Service, maintain and repair drilling rigs, grout mixing plant, water and mud pumps, water tanks, silos, and ancillary drilling equipment.
• Ensure acceptable housekeeping practices are employed and maintained.
• Attend sites throughout the UK, including overnight stays, as required.
• Work in accordance with company procedures and policies, ensuring work is carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
