Job summary

Palfinger UK is recruiting a Workshop Team Leader for our Dartford service centre. You will lead a team in a modern facility, overseeing service and repair of Palfinger lorry-cranes and related equipment.

This role offers training and development within a premium engineering brand, with a focus on leadership and workshop profitability. You will work on-site Monday to Friday with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory, senior technician or leadership role within a workshop environment.
• Experience in service and repair of cranes or hydraulic equipment such as forklifts or HGVs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop workshop technicians in service, maintenance and repair of Palfinger lorries and ancillary equipment.
• Plan workloads and drive efficient workflow through the workshop.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance across the depot.
• Support the Depot Manager with workshop revenue, cost control and profitability.
• Identify and support training needs across the team.
