Job summary

Palfinger UK is seeking an engineer to join our Dartford service centre for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. You will service and repair Palfinger lorry cranes, diagnose hydraulic/electrical/software faults, and perform LOLER inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

We welcome applicants from engineering backgrounds in cranes or related hydraulic equipment, with a customer‑focused approach and a commitment to quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience with cranes or similar hydraulic equipment.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance or closely related discipline.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to high-quality work.
• Flexibility to work on-site at our Dartford service centre (Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

• General servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on Palfinger lorry cranes.
• Hydraulic, electrical and software fault finding.
• Thorough LOLER inspections.
