Job summary

EMR Group in the United Kingdom is recruiting a General Yard Operative to join our on-site team. You will load, unload, process and transport materials on site, perform regular checks on machinery, and assist customers while delivering excellent service.

Training will be provided to upskill you to operate our plant, with clear progression opportunities. We value teamwork, a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Hands-on attitude with good customer service skills.
• Able to work outdoors in an industrial environment.
• Good teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, processing and transporting materials on site.
• Conducting regular checks on machinery and work areas.
• Assisting customers on site and supporting depot management daily.

What You Will Be Doing:

This role has a variety of responsibilities to keep you busy throughout the day.

Whether you’re loading, unloading, processing and transporting various materials on site. Conducting regular checks on machinery and work areas. To assisting customers and clients on site whilst offering excellent customer service.

Whilst supporting depot management with day-to-day requirements.

About You:

If you’ve got a 'can do' attitude, you're a good team player, you enjoy being 'hands-on', you have good customer service skills, and you enjoy working outdoors in all conditions in an industrial environment. Then this role will be right up your street!
