Job summary
Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic / Heavy Plant Engineer to service and repair our fleet of mobile cranes in St Neots, Cambridge. You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records, contributing to safety and reliability across our UK fleet.

Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic engineering skills.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Experience diagnosing electrical faults.
- Experience diagnosing hydraulic faults.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, inspecting and repairing mobile cranes and related equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Responding to breakdowns and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate service records and inspection documentation.
- Cooperating with operations to plan maintenance activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance.
