EnerMech is seeking a Crane Mechanic for a permanent role in the Cranes and Lifting department, working offshore on a 2/2 rotational basis. The successful candidate will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, ensuring compliance with safety and legislative standards. Applicants must have an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Certificate and valid offshore certificates, with prior crane experience preferred. The Role and Responsibilities
A permanent opportunity has arisen within our Cranes and Lifting department for a Crane Mechanic to work offshore on a 2/2 rotational basis. This role will be based predominantly on the Douglas platform, mobilising from Blackpool. You will be tasked with carrying out first line maintenance up to and including 12 monthly Planned Maintenance Routines and ensuring Crane integrity is maintained to current legislative, corporate and manufacturers recommendations. It would be expected that a safe and comprehensive shift handover is conducted and recorded. You must also have a good understanding of the Management of Change process and be able to identify and initiate change management events on the job.
The Requirements
It is essential that you hold an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Certificate or a recognised apprenticeship. Other client specific training will be required. You will hold valid UK offshore certificates. Previous Mechanical experience is also essential. It is preferred that you have previous experience working with cranes on or offshore. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and have the ability to troubleshoot.
