Based at our Rushden depot, the Service Engineer will prepare, service and maintain our fleet of cranes and equipment, ensuring every unit leaves the yard in first-class condition. Expect a mix of workshop maintenance, fault finding and occasional site visits.

We’re looking for someone with experience in heavy plant or similar gear, strong mechanical or electrical skills, and a practical problem-solving approach. Full specialist training will be provided; a full UK driving licence is required.

Formación

• Experience maintaining heavy mechanical equipment (e.g., cranes, HGVs, forklifts, heavy plant).
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to learn and a practical approach to problems.
• Specialist training on our equipment will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing tower cranes, including self erectors and associated equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs both in the depot and on customer sites.
• Preparing equipment to the highest standard before it leaves the yard.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise reliability.
• Supporting the loading, unloading and storage of crane equipment.
• Maintaining service records and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Working closely with our experienced engineering team to deliver an excellent service to our customers.
