Job summary

Taylor & Fraser OSM seeks reliable semi-skilled labourers to join our off-site manufacturing team at our data centre modular fabrication site. You will assist in assembling structural frames, measuring, marking and preparing materials, using hand and power tools under supervision.

There is ongoing training, career progression into fabrication, overtime opportunities and a company pension. Full PPE is provided and you will work in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing or construction environment.
• Ability to use measuring equipment accurately.
• Competent using hand and power tools.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Desirable: experience in steel fabrication or modular construction.
• Desirable: ability to read basic fabrication drawings.
• Desirable: Manual Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate Unistrut and Hilti modular support frames from engineering drawings.
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist skilled fabricators and welders during production.
• Drill, grind, deburr and prepare components for assembly.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organised and safe.
• Follow company Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials where required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Taylor & Fraser OSM is seeking reliable and motivated Semi-skilled labourers to join our growing off-site manufacturing team. The successful candidates will assist in the fabrication and assembly of structural frames used in the manufacture of high-quality modular pipe systems for data centre projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a modern manufacturing environment with ongoing training and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate Unistrut and Hilti modular support frames from engineering drawings.
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication.
