Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Joiner for Sheffield City Council on a 3-month temporary contract. The position is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Sheffield. Qualifications

• Experience working as a Joiner.
• DBS check (Basic) is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Measure and cut timber, MDF, and plywood to precise dimensions.
• Manufacture items in a workshop, including doors, windows, staircases, cabinets, and furniture.
• Assemble components to create finished units before installation.
• Repair or replace damaged timber fixtures, frames, and architectural features.
