Job summary

The Running Horses in Mickleham is seeking a skilled bartender to run a clean, fast and friendly bar with perfect pints, balanced cocktails and confident wine service. You’ll communicate clearly with floor and kitchen teams to deliver smooth, profitable service.

Applicants should have solid bar experience, passion for guest care, and the ability to work in a busy environment. Right to work in the UK and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Pride in guest care and product quality.
• Solid bar experience in a busy pub/restaurant (premium casual or above).
• Cocktail competence and strong beer/wine knowledge or eagerness to learn quickly.
• Speed with accuracy and tidy working habits.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take and serve drinks quickly with guidance.
• Pour and present draught beer; maintain glassware standards and line hygiene.
• Mix cocktails to spec; prep garnishes, syrups and juices daily.
• Provide confident wine service and bottle opening.
• Keep bar setups, inventory, and closing routines in order.
