Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team as an Apprentice. You will gain practical experience while studying towards a recognised Business Studies qualification, with involvement in purchasing, shipping, compliance and planning.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will learn through hands-on tasks and cross-functional collaboration, building a foundation for a future career in supply chain management.

Qualifications

• A Levels or equivalent qualifications are required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy are important.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications is expected.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Interest in business operations, logistics, purchasing and supply chain activities is desirable.
• Strong interest in studying Business while gaining practical experience.
• Previous work experience, through employment, volunteering or placements, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support shipping and logistics activities, including domestic and international shipments.
• Assist with import/export compliance processes and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting data using business systems.
• Work with internal stakeholders across Operations, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance.
• Raise and track purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Support inventory management and stock planning activities.
• Contribute to operational planning and scheduling processes.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team as a Supply Chain Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed their A Levels and wants to gain practical experience whilst studying towards a recognised Business Studies qualification.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to a wide range of supply chain activities including purchasing, shipping, compliance, and operational planning, developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in Supply Chain Management.

As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you will support the team in:

• Supporting shipping and logistics activities, including domestic and international shipments.
