Job summary

Dentalcare Group in Westbury is seeking a CQC Registered Dental Practice Manager to lead a mixed NHS/Private practice focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

You will be responsible for governance, recruitment, team management, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, CQC, and company policies, while promoting a patient‑centric service and a strong local reputation.

Qualifications

  • Previous dental management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the clinical governance system and policies (Health & Safety, etc).
  • Recruitment of support and clinical staff.
  • Manage team including rotas, appraisals and inductions.
  • Promote a first-class service to patients.
  • Build productive relationships with associates for engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CQC, Clinical Governance and company policy.
  • Resolve employee relations issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Oversee opening hours to offer the best proposition for patients.
  • Build the practice's local reputation as the go-to dental practice.
  • Work 40 hours per week, 8am–7pm, Monday to Saturday.

Job description

Here at Dentalcare Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate CQC Registered Dental Practice Manager to join our practice at Westbury. We are a mixed NHS/Private practice who pride ourselves in putting our patients first and ensuring that we provide the best care.

About the Role
  • Managing the clinical governance system and maintaining practice policies including Health & Safety
  • Recruitment of support and clinical staff;
  • Management of team to include: Rotas, Appraisals as well as inductions
  • Promoting a team environment and culture that is committed to executing a first-class service to our patients
  • Build productive relationships with associates, supporting strong engagement and retention through regular touch base sessions
  • Ensure quality for our patients through full compliance with all internal and legislative requirements (e.g. Health and Safety, CQC, Clinical Governance, Company policy)
  • Support and resolve any employee relations issues to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Ensure that the practice is offering the best proposition through their opening hours
  • Ensure each practice is building their reputation in their local area as the go to dental practice.
  • You will work 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday
  • Pay negotiable depending on experience
About You
  • Leadership and team management.

  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to understand and work with budgets, targets and KPI's.
  • Previous dental management experience is essential
  • Be friendly, flexible, highly motivated, and able to work well under pressure
  • A profound sense of professionalism and dedication is required for this role
