Job summary

AMD is seeking a CPU Core MicroArchitect/RTL Design Engineer in the United Kingdom to craft a functional unit in AMD’s next-generation core. Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
• Experience in Silicon design in CPU realm.
• RTL development with industry tools in a CPU environment.
• Demonstrates knowledge in Processor architecture and logic design.
• Proven experience with microarchitecture development and post-silicon support.

Responsibilities

• Execute RTL design and coding for processor core pipeline with focus on caches and memory subsystem.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define high-level architecture.
• Participate in microarchitecture definition for next-generation high-performance cores.
• Contribute to design verification, synthesis, power reduction, timing convergence and floorplanning.
• Provide post-silicon support to ensure successful bring-up.
