Sussex Police is seeking a proactive CPD Events Coordinator to drive Continued Professional Development across the Force. You will design learning materials, coordinate events, and support CPD initiatives while liaising with managers and external speakers.

A strong background in planning, stakeholder engagement, and e-learning development will help you succeed. The role promotes a culture of development, collaboration, and high-quality training delivery.

Qualifications

• A level qualifications or equivalent; English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent.
• Excellent level of computer literacy; advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and related packages.
• Experience in event planning, including producing training materials and liaising with stakeholders and guest speakers.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate CPD events across both Forces.
• Create and design learning products (e-learning, videos, presentations).
• Support CPD portfolios and teams; review processes for improvements.
• Liaise with managers and stakeholders to produce relevant training materials.
• Promote CPD benefits and foster a culture of personal responsibility for development.
