Job summary

St John’s Marlborough on Granham Hill invites applications for an Attendance Support Officer who will maintain attendance records, process absences, and generate reports in line with school policies. You will work with Assistant Heads of Year and pastoral staff to promote regular attendance.

You will build positive relationships with students, parents and carers, identify barriers to attendance and support interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience with attendance administration and reporting.
• Ability to monitor attendance and punctuality and implement interventions.
• Ability to engage with students, parents and carers.
• Experience working with safeguarding and pastoral staff.
• Familiarity with school policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate attendance records and process absence information.
• Produce attendance reports and correspondence in line with policies.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality and implement interventions.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers.
• Work with safeguarding, pastoral staff and external agencies to promote attendance.
