Job summary

Teamforce Labour Ltd. are actively seeking an experienced CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator Operator for an immediate start in Kendal. The role offers ongoing civil engineering site work with competitive negotiable rates based on experience.

You will operate 360° excavators safely, perform earthworks, assist drainage and foundations, and conduct pre-start checks on plant. Early starts and reliable teamwork are essential for delivery and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (CSCS Logo) 360 Excavator Operator qualification.
• Previous experience operating 360 excavators on civil projects.
• Good understanding of safe excavation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 360° excavator safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
• Carry out excavation, grading, trenching and backfilling works.
• Assist with drainage, foundations, ducting and earthworks.
• Perform routine pre-start inspections and basic daily maintenance of plant.
• Work with groundworkers and site management to complete works safely and on schedule.
• Follow site drawings, instructions and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Report any plant defects or safety concerns promptly.

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate a 360° excavator safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
• Carry out excavation, grading, trenching and backfilling works.
• Assist with drainage, foundations, ducting and general earthworks.
• Perform routine pre-start inspections and basic daily maintenance of plant.
• Work closely with groundworkers and site management to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule.
• Follow site drawings, instructions and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Report any plant defects or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (CSCS Logo) 360 Excavator Operator qualification.
• Previous experience operating 360 excavators on civil engineering or construction projects.
• Good understanding of safe excavation practices and underground services.
• Own PPE.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
