Salary: Main Teachers Pay Scale

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator, capable of inspiring, challenging and supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster a genuine love of learning. In this rewarding role, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-planned lessons, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high levels of student engagement during short-term teacher absences. Safeguarding responsibilities associated with this role may include engagement in regulatory activity, such as administering first aid or supporting an upset child. It will have contact with young people on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification and the post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and Children's Barred List check. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
