Aspire People is seeking a Cover Supervisor in Caerphilly to lead classrooms during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and manage classroom behaviour effectively. Are you confident leading a classroom and highly skilled in behaviour management? Are you looking for a rewarding role in secondary schools across the Caerphilly area from September?

The Role

• September start
• Long‑term and short‑term positions available
• Opportunities across secondary schools in Caerphilly
• Daily rate of £120 – £150, depending on qualifications and level of experience
• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre‑set work and ensure students remain on task
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
• Respond confidently to challenge and low‑level disruption, in line with school behaviour policies
• Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times
• Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
