Job summary

Inspire Education Trust is seeking a Senior Cover Supervisor to join our Coventry team. You will support primary aged pupils with engaging activities, maintain calm classroom management and promote positive values while safeguarding at all times.

The role offers flexible, less term-time weeks and part-time hours, with progression opportunities through Level 5 apprenticeship and a Foundation Degree, and a supportive leadership team focused on staff wellbeing and professional development.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and flexible team player for this role of Senior Cover Supervisor. We are looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic and inspiring with excellent classroom management skills
• Has relevant experience of working with and supporting primary aged pupils
• Who can promote positive values and attitudes within the classroom
• Understands their role in safeguarding and protecting children

On successful completion, you will achieve both the Level 5 apprenticeship qualification and the Foundation Degree. We offer great flexibility with this position, with less term time weeks worked and part-time hours available. All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
